About: Jak Serr

Hollander Advisors was founded by Jak Serr, an experienced Real Estate and Finance professional who has overseen and managed numerous real estate transactions from inception through to final sale.

Jak has experience in all aspects of the transaction process, from deal sourcing, modelling, preparing internal and external presentation materials, underwriting and due diligence, debt and equity capital raising, and managing the legal process through to purchase, sale and completion.

After graduating from the London School of Economics in 2013, Jak initially worked at Russell Investments focusing on strategic asset allocation of pension fund and other private clients, enabling him to develop an understanding of different asset classes as well as the individual needs of clients.

Thereafter, Jak moved to Fidelity Investments where he worked for a number of years as a Fixed Income Research Associate. At Fidelity, Jak specialised in fundamental credit analysis, focusing on publicly traded Investment Grade and High Yield bonds of large and mega cap companies.

After leaving Fidelity in 2017, Jak moved into the real estate sector, working as a Senior Investment Analyst at Reditum Capital. Reditum specialises in providing joint venture debt and equity finance to a range of real estate projects within planning and development. Here, Jak focused on all aspects of the transaction process, with a particular focus on structuring, deal underwriting and transaction management.

Having successfully processed and managed a number of planning and development deals at Reditum, Jak formed Hollander Advisors in September 2020, offering a range of services within real estate sub-sectors, primarily focusing on capital raising and structuring.
